Move over Avocado Toast and make way for the new kid in town! Seasonal Toasts! I am a pretty big fan of Avocado Toast in all forms, but even with variations it can get a little boring. I was trying to think of a way to make it more interesting and came up with doing seasonal toasts. Why be limited to just avocado especially when sometimes they aren’t even in season? I had the most spectacular toast appetizer at a restaurant recently that was made with seasonal items and it really inspired me. This is my take on a Winter Toast featuring pears, goat cheese and honey! A perfect weekend breakfast or afternoon snack with your favorite tea or coffee. I hope you enjoy!
- 4 Slices Gluten Free Bread or use your favorite
- 2 ounces Honey Goat Cheese room temperature
- 1/2 Whole Pear thinly sliced
- Drizzle Honey
- Pumpkin Seeds to top
- Grab your ingredients.
- Toast your bread.
- Spread the goat cheese evenly over each slice.
- Top with sliced pears.
- Add a drizzle of honey.
- Finish with pumpkin seeds. (You don't have to sit on your counter like I did, but feel free to do so if the spirit moves you!)
- Enjoy!

You can totally use regular goat cheese and flavor it yourself with honey of you can't find honey goat cheese.
